The William Gladden Foundation funds its mission through grants, book sales and royalties as well as donations from charities, organizations, agencies and individuals concerned about the welfare of America’s at-risk youth. We advance our mission by publishing the research, life experiences and wisdom of former clients of the foster care, juvenile justice and mental health systems. We believe the best way to improve the child welfare system requires learning from alumni who have successfully beaten the odds.
